Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) individuals based in the European Union have right to have their personal data erased. If you fall under this category some main points about your right to have your personal data erased:
1. The right to be forgotten is also known as ‘right to erasure’.
2. Tamio has to inform you about your right to erasure if you are using our services.
3. Tamio is required to comply within 1 calendar month to your requests regarding your right to erasure.
4. The right is not absolute and only applies in certain circumstances.
Tamio is compliant with the regulation and offers tools for its users and their customers to excercise their right to erasure.
How to exercise your right to erasure
Tamio users can exercise their right to erasure by:
1. Deleting their account. This option is available in your "Settings" page in the Tamio admin panel. This process is automated and all your personal information will be removed instantly.

Right to Erasure of Customer Data
Exercise of Rights
Customers of merchants using the Tamio platform may exercise their right to request the erasure of personal data held within the Tamio system. Such requests may be submitted to the merchant via the contact details provided in the purchase invoice, through the contact form available on the merchant’s website, by telephone, or in writing to the merchant’s registered business address.
Merchant Compliance
Upon receipt of a valid erasure request, the merchant may fulfil its obligations by initiating the deletion of the customer’s record within the Tamio administrative panel. This action permanently removes all personal data of the customer stored by Tamio, with immediate effect.
Legal Limitations
Notwithstanding the foregoing, certain categories of data may be retained as required by applicable law, including but not limited to tax legislation, accounting standards, and fraud-prevention obligations. Such information will remain accessible exclusively within the invoices and transaction records generated in connection with the customer’s purchases and will be retained strictly for the duration of the applicable statutory retention period. Following the expiry of such period, the data shall be securely erased or anonymized.
